Award description: 

The Merck Frosst Biochemistry scholarship will be awarded annually. All graduate students currently registered at the Guelph/Waterloo Centre for Graduate Work in Chemistry and Biochemistry (GWC2) are eligible provided that their research is in the field of biochemistry. The awardee shall be selected on the basis of a demonstration of ability and promise in research and his/her performance in at least two graduate courses, with particular emphasis being placed on the former. The selection committee will be made up of the Coordinating Committee of the Guelph/Waterloo Centre for Graduate Work in Chemistry and Biochemistry, or a subcommittee thereof appointed by the Director. Nominations will be solicited from Centre faculty and the Graduate Officers by June 1 of each year.
