This award will be made annually (without application) to select incoming full-time doctoral students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents or international students) who are conducting research in Statistics, Biostatistics or Actuarial Science. The recipients must have a minimum 80% average upon admission to the program, as well as an outstanding record of research accomplishments and/or references citing significant future potential in research. The selection will be made by the Awards subcommittee of the Statistic and Actuarial Science Graduate Committee.
