Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA)
Needles Hall, second floor, room 2201
Postdocs and their families (including partners and/or children) are invited to join in for an afternoon of outside fun.
Join us for games beginning at 11:30 a.m., including ladderball, giant Jenga and more, with lunch being served beginning at noon. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with Associate Deans, our Associate Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (Jeff Casello) and, of course, other postdocs!
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, July 10, 2019
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Place: St. Jerome’s Alumni Courtyard space
Directions: We will have balloons and signage posted along the path. For the easiest route to the picnic, please start on Ring Road outside of Ira Needles Hall (NH).
If you have accessibility needs or require parking to accommodate your children’s attendance, please email Katie Parsons.
Interested in attending? RSVP today!
Rain Information: Worried about rain? Don’t be! This year’s Postdoc Picnic will happen rain or shine. In the event of unco-operative weather, our group will move to an inside location, less than a two minute walk from the courtyard.

Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA)
Needles Hall, second floor, room 2201
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
