A community of scholars: celebrating spring 2022 PhD graduates

A doctoral degree represents the culmination of hard work and dedication; seeing it through to the finish line is a testament to hard work and perseverance!

Doctoral graduate students, supervisors and guests are invited to attend a virtual celebration to commemorate the remarkable achievement of completing a PhD degree at Waterloo. It will also showcase the diversity of our PhD graduates' research and celebrate the breadth of their achievements as a community.

note: This event is in addition to the University-wide convocation ceremonies taking place in June 2022.

Submit photos of your time at Waterloo, or congratulatory videos for a special graduate. The photos and videos will be shared at the PhD celebration and on the GSPA website following the event. We can’t wait to see the fun you will have with this! The deadline to submit is May 16.

In addition to the virtual PhD celebration, you're invited to attend an in-person reception at the Graduate House, following the event. If you are on campus or living in Waterloo Region, please join us for some drinks and light refreshments. Space is limited. RSVP below.
