Academic integrity requires that you paraphrase and summarize other people’s work. Through hands-on practice, you will learn these skills and how to integrate your supporting research for improved credibility.

This workshop will guide you through a step-by-step process to plan and conduct effective conversations around difficult issues that you may experience with your supervisor. We will cover scenarios that you might encounter during grad school such as: the level or effectiveness of research supervision, the need for accommodations or additional supports, advice about career paths, or expectations about workload or work-life balance.

This is a specialized workshop for graduate students and postdocs.

This workshop is intended for international TAs who have just arrived at Waterloo. The workshop will introduce you to teaching environments at Waterloo, challenges that international TAs might face, and provide resources that can help improve your teaching.
