Monday, February 11, 2019 — 10:00 to 11:30 AM to 11:30 AM EST

Academic work is constantly under review as instructors assess students' papers, supervisors guide students on theses, or students evaluate instructors teaching, only to name a few examples. In all of these cases, evaluative information is being given to one person by another as feedback has occurred. But was it helpful? Was it assimilated? Will it make a difference in the future? In this workshop, we will explore how to become better recipients and givers of feedback in the academic setting.
