Know your stuff: Policies and guidelines for graduate student success

Did you know that the University of Waterloo has 77 official policies, several of which promote graduate student success? In this session, you will receive practical information about policies, procedures, and guidelines related to graduate studies, ranging from TA policy to supervisor expectations to dispute resolution and progress reporting. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and concerns (anonymously), or you can send them to us in advance.

• This event is taking place on Zoom. A link to the Zoom webinar will be provided to registered attendee via email two days prior to the event, as well as the day of the event. 
• This event is tailored to incoming graduate students who may be hearing about these policies for the first time, but will also be of interest to current graduate students who would like to learn more about policies or ask questions about how policies may apply to their current situation.
