Since 2009, National Postdoc Appreciation week has been running to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to research and discovery. Institutions from across the country and other parts of the world participate by holding special events. The University of Waterloo officially began hosting our own Postdoc Appreciation Week in 2016 and continues to have the largest celebration in Canada.
Join us for all, or some, of the many events we have planned to celebrate University of Waterloo postdoctoral fellows during National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) (September 16-20).
Some of the events we are planning include:

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
