    From the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies (CAGS):

    Shanthanu Krishna Kumar, a master’s student in plant agriculture from the University of Guelph, has won both first place and the People’s Choice Award.  It is the first time that has happened in the national competition, which is going into its fifth year.
