    The University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Science will be welcoming six Canadian Vanier Graduate Scholarship recipients this fall, where they will be starting their doctoral studies in Earth and Environmental Sciences as well as Physics and Astronomy.

  2. Sep. 27, 2018New e-commerce forms for October 1

    As of October 1, 2018 credit card companies are changing the way personal information can be collected and stored. Because of these changes, all Office of the Registrar (RO) and Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) forms that include payment information will now be offered through e-commerce. Included forms are:

    • Proof of Enrolment Request
    • Transcript Request
    • Duplicate Diploma Request
    • Replacement Diploma Request
  3. Sep. 26, 2018Professor Kirsten Müller appointed new Assistant Vice-President, GSPA

    On November 1, 2018, Professor Kirsten Müller will begin her role as the Assistant Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs. She will join Jeff Casello, Associate Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs and Daniela O’Neill, also Assistant Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs.

    Join your graduate student peers for an informal discussion about achieving balance in grad school. Through facilitated discussion, you will have an opportunity to brainstorm as a group about how to achieve balance in grad school and discuss on- and off-campus activities that can help provide this balance.

    Coffee, tea, and healthy snacks will be provided.

    This consultation session is open to all University of Waterloo graduate students. The strategic plan consultations will gather input and feedback on what we need to achieve by 2025 and what success looks like. Food and beverages will be served.
