A GRADtalks Research Dissemination Award, valued at $500, will be provided to graduate students registered at the University of Waterloo who are selected to present their research at a GRADtalks speaker series event. Recipients of the award may be asked to provide additional follow up communications/marketing assets (e.g., blog posts) to share their experience of being a GRADtalks speaker. It is anticipated that the award will support the recipients in further dissemination of their research; recipients are encouraged to acknowledge this award if they used these funds to register and present at a future conference.
Our GRADtalks program has been postponed indefinitely. The GRADtalks webpage will be updated if and when additional events are organized.
If you have questions about this award, please use the contact us form.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
