Lorne H. Russwurm Memorial Award

Award description: 

This award has been established in memory of Lorne Russwurm, an internationally known researcher and Professor of Geography 1967-1987. Recipients of this award will normally be undergraduate geography students entering second, third, or fourth year who began studies as a mature student, have above average academic standing and who have demonstrated a need for financial assistance. Consideration may be given to mature graduate students and to undergraduate Geography students in general. Preference will be given to students who have actively participated in student, community or other organizations.  Applications are available from the Student Awards & Financial Aid (SAFA) office.
