GRADtalks speakers present to a full house
On Tuesday, March 30 the second in a series of GRADtalks events was held in EV3 1408. GRADtalks is a series of research talks featuring two University of Waterloo doctoral students, speaking about a common theme from their research perspectives – highlighting the remarkable work done by Waterloo graduate students. This time the topic was on Artificial Intelligence, and the speakers were:
- Audrey Chung, PhD Candidate in Systems Design Engineering, Faculty of Engineering
- John Carpenter, PhD Candidate in English, Faculty of Arts
Audrey and John spoke to a room filled to capacity, and the questions that came after the talk showed how much the audience was engaged.
