Academics

Study with and get to know professors in a community-oriented learning environment. Grebel teaches within the Arts faculty at the University of Waterloo, administering the Music and Peace and Conflict Studies departments at Waterloo, and offering additional undergraduate courses in Arts, History, Mennonite Studies, Religion, Culture, and Spirituality, and Sociology. Grebel also offers two masters level graduate programs in Theological Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies.

The Crossroads of Friendship, Community, and Peace

Conrad Grebel University College was buzzing with music and conversation on November 29, 2025, as friends and family of Dr. Tom Lee joined together toward a shared purpose of celebrating Tom while also fundraising for the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement.

Music Camp Strikes a Chord

Uniting campers in song and harmony, OMMC provides an inclusive two-week camp experience for teens, while developing musical and leadership skills, and exploring questions of faith. Campers are encouraged to carry these skills back to their churches and communities. 

The Canadian Council of Churches and Conrad Grebel University College are pleased to announce a two-year agreement in support of Project Ploughshares, under which Paul Heidebrecht is seconded to serve as the Director of Project Ploughshares beginning January 1, 2026.
