Music Director Daniel Warren is leading virtual orchestra@uwaterloo practices. Students appreciate instrumental music as a creative outlet at this stressful time.
The Orchestra is now formally a part of the University of Waterloo's Music Department that is housed at Conrad Grebel University College. There have been many informal connections, but this solidifies a strong collegial relationship, and brings the orchestra into the department and offers support to this vital program. The orchestra adds a rich musical experience to the lives of so many students, alumni, faculty and staff.
Like all Music Department ensembles, the orchestra provides a creative outlet for UWaterloo students to express their musicality in the midst of essays, labs, lectures, and work-term reports. The orchestra also welcomes Waterloo staff, faculty, and alumni to participate in the ensemble. Please watch our website for concert times and locations, especially our term-end concerts and our free noon-hour concerts. We hope you will consider a gift to the Grebel Fund for the orchestra and to support music on the Waterloo campus!
