Conrad Grebel University College is seeking an instructor for PACS 314: Restorative Justice and Transformative Education during the Spring Term of 2025.
Course Description
This seminar course presents alternative ways of designing the educational experience using restorative justice as a foundation. It applies the principles and practices of restorative justice to many aspects of education including dealing with conflict, curriculum development, school culture, and system issues.
Mode of Delivery: This course is offered fully in person at Conrad Grebel University College.
Schedule: Tuesday 2:30 pm – 5:20 pm, Spring Term 2025
Duties will include training, preparation, lecturing, invigilating exams, grading, email correspondence, and office hours.
Anticipated class size: 35.
All candidates should submit the following materials to be considered for the position:

- A curriculum vitae with contact information; and
- Evidence of positive teaching performance, such as teaching evaluations, letters of recommendation, statement of teaching philosophy, or previous syllabi where applicable.
Candidates who have not previously taught at Conrad Grebel University College may also be asked to supply letters of reference or give permission for the Employer to contact referees by telephone or email.
Preferred instructors will have teaching experience and a PhD, however those with master's degrees will be considered.
