The World Beloved: Bluegrass & Beyond
Bluegrass Music, also known as "Old Time Music" or "Old Folk Music," is a North America indigenous music founded by immigrants in the early 20th century. Bluegrass incorporates influences from black spirituals, blues and jazz into Maritime traditional songs, fiddle and dance music. Carol Barnett's The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass is the featured piece.
The Mennonite Archives of Ontario has partnered with the Hunsberger family to create a photo exhibit featuring a select number of David L. Hunsberger's iconic photos. Almost 5,700 of his images were donated to the Archives in 2005.
