Book Pickup Services

Faculty, Staff and Students of the University of Waterloo

Faculty, staff and students can order print materials through Omni, the library catalogue.

Choose your pickup location OR choose the "books by mail" option. You can also request a digitized chapter, article or excerpt to be sent to you electronically.

The University of Waterloo library also operates an interlibrary loan service for print books and digital materials not readily available through the library catalogue.

More information is available on the University of Waterloo Library's Book Pickup Services page.

Other borrowers

Other borrowers with an active library card can order Milton Good Library books only through this order form. Milton Good Library is the only pickup location for these orders. Note that our bookshelves are also open for browsing.

  • Once you have placed your order, you should receive an automatic email confirming your submission. You will receive a subsequent email when your items are ready.
  • You may pick up your items during libary open hours. Note that proof of vaccination is required on campus. Please see our instructions for more information.
  • Your items will be held for 14 days. Please contact us if you no longer need these items.
  • Items requested must be books or periodical volumes physically in the Milton Good Library; this is not a recall or scanning service. New periodical issues are not loanable, nor browsable in the library.
  • Books may be returned to us or to these book bins.
