Werner Packull

Werner PackullWerner Packull holds a BA (Hons.) from the University of Guelph (1969), a BTh from Emmanuel Bible College (1969), an MA from the University of Waterloo (1970), and a PhD in History from Queen's University (1974). Packull is a specialist in the Radical Reformation. He is the author of a number of books and numerous articles and reviews in refereed journals, anthologies and encyclopaedias. He has been a participant at many scholarly conferences. His writings have appeared in English, German, Dutch, French, Latvian and Japanese. Special research interests include Radical Reformation (Anabaptism), the Magisterial Reformation, late medieval, Renaissance and modern German history.

After 20 years of scholarship and teaching at Conrad Grebel University College, Packull retired in August, 2003.
