The Krueger Family Award

Peaches on a branch

Vic and Rita Krueger have grown peaches in the Niagara Peninsula for 30 years. They have three children, two of whom attended the University of Waterloo.

Issues of peace and development have been an interest of the family. In retirement, Vic and Rita have traveled to many developing countries to do volunteer dentistry. During their travels they have obtained first hand knowledge of the devastation of conflict.

The Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) program at Conrad Grebel University College is a significant program that will assist students to make a difference in the global community.
