Carlo Cunanan is a MASc. student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He obtained his BASc. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2022. He joined the research group as a Master’s student in the Fall of 2022. Presently, his research is focused on ammonia economics and the effect that the decarbonization of ammonia will have on various sectors. In the past, he has worked in battery and fuel cell research. He has also previously held co-ops in the food, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries. Green energy production and storage applications are topics that he has great interest in. His objective is to have a better understanding of how these greener technologies will impact the economy.
