  • Carbon metabolism and mechanisms of oxidation of sulfur compounds by facultative chemolithotrophs.
  • Molecular genetic studies of plant-associated soil and rhizosphere bacteria. Carbon metabolism in root nodule bacteria. Genetics of polyhydroxyalkanoate metabolism. Enzymology and physiology of hyperthermophilic microorganisms.
