  • Fish toxicology; biochemical mechanisms of toxicity; biochemical indicators of chemical effects; pharmacokinetics. Clinical methods for assessment of toxicant impact. Biotic modifying factors of toxicity.
  • Membrane structure and function. Electron spin resonance, spin labelling and fluorescence depolarization applied to biology. Hyperthermia of mammalian cells.
  • Comparative aspects of chemical toxicity and aging.
  • Physiology of the mammalian reproductive system; mechanisms of corpus-luteum regression.
  • Role of changes in gene regulation as a means of adaptation to environmental conditions.
  • Electrophysiology of fish muscle using conventional and biotelemetry procedures.
  • Evaluation of anthropogenic impacts on fish using physiological telemetry procedures.
