Printing frequently asked questions

The Faculty of Health printers are wPrint kiosks provided by Print and Retail Solutions.

Where are the Faculty of Health printers located?

AHS has two wPrint kiosks:

  • B.C. Matthews Hall (BMH) 1034 - undergraduate computer lab
  • Applied Health Science (AHS) 2821 - second floor foyer

What do I need to log-in to wPrint?

You need a WatIam userid and password.

How do I print from a faculty lab computer?

In faculty labs with a release station, submit your job, then go to the release station and tap your WatCard or login with your WatIam credentials. Select which of your jobs you’d like to print. You will only see your print jobs.

In faculty labs without a release station, submit your job, then log into wPrint with your WatIam credentials. Select which of your jobs you’d like to print. You will only see your print jobs.

How do I print from my WatCard?

You will need to have flex dollars on your WatCard. To add flex dollars to your WatCard, visit the WatCard website.

How long is my print job retained in the wPrint printer?

Print jobs are retained in the printer queue for two hours.

What file types are supported by wPrint?

Microsoft Office and PDF are supported file types.

What is the maximum file size?

File size of a print job cannot exceed 100MB.

What if my print job does not print or is damaged? Can I get a refund?

You can initiate a refund request on the wPrint site. Approved refund amounts will be made available for future print jobs (refunds will not be added back to your WatCard). There is no service fee for refunds.

During regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday):

  • Visit the wPrint Demo Station and Help Desk in Campus Tech SLC.
  • CEIT, Dana Porter, Davis Centre, Math

After 5pm on weekdays or during weekends, leave a message at the number above and someone will return you call during business hours.
