Making original contributions to tourism research
Tom Griffin, a member of the Healthy Communities Research Network, received the Peter W. Williams PhD award from the Canadian chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association for his original contributions to the advancement research on visiting friends and relatives (also known as VFR), a concept central to tourism research. The award is sponsored by Research Resolutions and Consulting.
