At least 8.8 million people die from cancer each year around the world. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada, accounting for 30% of all deaths. Sunday February 4th 2018 is World Cancer Day which aims to get as many people around the world as possible talking about cancer. World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths yearly by raising awareness about the disease, and leveraging governments and individuals across the world into action.
