
Through interactive exercises and discussions, the Men’s Circle will explore some of the ways in which men can become leaders in creating a safer campus for everyone. The content is geared toward unpacking constructs of masculinity and increasing understanding of the impact of an individual’s behaviour on themselves and others.

This International Women's Day we celebrate the contributions women make to our world with a pnel discussion between four incredibly entrepreneurial women who are ready to share their journeys with you. This will be a candid discussion around some of the specific challenges women continue to face, but also a celebration of the massive strides women have made, not without the support of all members of society.

The Egyptian queen has generated varied treatments in art and film: she is the Cleopatra of myth and fantasy as well as history, a myth which began during her lifetime. Is Cleopatra an immoral ruination or great leader? Coquettish temptress? A threat, a disgrace or an inspiration? This talk examines the historical Cleopatra and looks at some of the treatments in art, and mainly film. Although her image has been reworked by countless generations, the real Cleopatra remains elusive behind all the masks which have been put on her.
