CASE STUDY: Toronto Health Centre owner never overlooks potential of co-op students in earlier years

During the 30+ years that Dr. Jenny Bekeschus has run the Toronto Health Centre, her downtown Toronto clinic, she has hired close to 100 co-op students. All hail from Waterloo, and all but a few have come from Kinesiology.

Her clinic specializes in treating accident, trauma and orthopaedic injuries, as well as providing preventative and recuperative care for sports and occupational injuries, back problems and stress-related ailments.

The University of Waterloo has been ranked the number one university in Canada for employer-student connections, according to the 2019 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Graduate Employability Rankings
