Last month, eager students leaped at the opportunity to network with more than 265 potential employers at the Partners for Employment (P4E), Career Fair. This event took place in the Manulife Sports Complex at RIM Park, with over 3000 students attending – almost half were UWaterloo students.
Co-op is what makes Waterloo Pharmacy unique: we’re the only co-operative education pharmacy school in Canada. Offering a co-op program is challenging and requires the support of the pharmacist community all across the country. Without employers to consistently hire students and offer invaluable learning opportunities, our program would not be possible.
Continuing the tradition of innovation and advancement, the University of Waterloo has joined the Advanced Manufacturing Consortium, to lead Ontario into the next generations of manufacturing. With a grant of $35 million over five years, the consortium will be a hub of new technology, products, methods and jobs. Find out more in Waterloo News.
