AMPED is a leadership conference geared to first-year students living in residence and enables them to recognize, enhance, and maximize their leadership ability.
AMPED brings together over 100 student leaders who share the desire to explore how to make the most of their time at Waterloo, and to be leaders in their academic, career, personal lives.
Throughout the two day conference, happening November 11 – 12, students participate in a number of interactive and informative sessions. They are exposed to guest speakers and campus/community partners, and they engage in meaningful social interactions with other participants and members of the Residence Life community. All of these things work toward giving students the skills necessary to be AMPED in their own lives!
AMPED is one of several development programs offered to students in residence at the University of Waterloo and fulfills the "Personal Development" requirement for the Maximize Potential Student Leadership Certificate.
