She is part of the Housing Occupancy and Services Team and works on providing students with residence related support and advising on student accommodations. Her goal is to assist in cultivating a supportive environment for students that makes Waterloo feel like home.

Lyndia acts as a project manager on assessment related projects, integrates assessment infrastructure, and acts as a communications hub for assessment data and information for the department.

Jamal is Housing’s Residence Life Coordinator for University of Waterloo Place - Wilmot, Wellesley, Wilmot, and Waterloo Courts. Jamal works towards creating a safe and connected living environment that fosters respect and appreciation for others by supporting the students of Waterloo Housing & Residences.  

When not at work, Jamal enjoys cooking and travelling.

Co-ordinator, Residence Learning

Jessie is the Co-ordinator, Residence Learning that is primarily responsible for the Global Business and Digital Arts Living-Learning Community, the Engineering Co-op Pilot, and Concept in Residence. This role works to supplement the in-class learning experiences that students engage in with outside the classroom learning experienced that are designed and sequenced intentionally.

Angelo Muto ​​​​​​is the Administrative Project Coordinator for Residence Facilities.  

He works with the Residence Facilities Management team on the development and implementation of various projects for the facility operation services.

Yasemin is the Project Coordinator for the Housing Occupancy and Marketing Services team. She contributes to the timely delivery of project outcomes and various unit wide and campus wide, cross-functional administrative activities.

Jennifer is the Residence Counsellor. She supports the first year students' mental health and their well-being on campus.

When Jennifer isn't at work she enjoys hiking on the Bruce Trail, hosting dinner socials with her friends, and planning weekend get-away in Southern Ontario.

Research Analyst

Dr. Hend Shalan is the Research Analyst of the Housing Department. Her work involves leading the Housing’s research agenda to coordinate, conduct, and manage research and evaluation activities to support evidence-based policy, program decisions, and practices.

Michele Ryan is Housing’s Business Process Analyst. She is part of the Business Technology & Systems Team and works to improve operational procedures for our staff and students.

When Michele is not at work, she enjoys photography, playing backgammon and training her patronus, Frankie!

Chris Riley.

After Hours Services, Supervisor

Chris is the Supervisor of After Hours Services. After Hours services provides a clean environment for both students and staff within each communities central complex. After Hours is also responsible for any maintenance concerns that occur outside of normal business hours.

Joe Pimentel

Supervisor, Cleaning Services

Joe Pimentel is one of Hosuings Supervisors of Cleaning Services. He works on leading a team to provide exceptional clean and safe environment for the students and staff in REV and CLVS.

When not at work, Joe likes to spend time with his family and spending time at his shop working on cars or refinishing furniture.

Wendy is the Co-ordinator, Residence Learning for the School of Accounting and Finance, Arts and Business, and upper-year Get Ready for: Life After Graduation programs. She works with her team and campus partners to ensure students’ success both in- and outside of the classroom.
