Barriers to Customer Service
The University of Waterloo has established a feedback process so that persons with disabilities are able to comment on the provision of goods or services provided to them.

Routes and Buildings
The campus map shows accessible entrances, accessible parking, location of help lines, and construction sites. The map responds to both your mouse and your keyboard. Use the arrow keys for scrolling and "-" and "+" for zooming in and out.
Plant Operations have floor plans and photos for most UW buildings. These are categorized by the name of the building followed by the floor number. Note: you will need to provide your UW userid to view the floor plans. Residence building floor plans are restricted to Plant Operations staff and other selected groups only!
This alphabetical listing of campus buildings provides information on accessible entrances, location of accessible washrooms, elevators, telephones and accessible parking close to the building.
Accessible parking spaces are available in designated areas across campus. Parking Services have established a guideline to assist with the process of determining alternative campus parking arrangements for persons with disabilities or temporary medical conditions.
A University of Waterloo permit along with a Ministry of Transportation permit must be displayed to park in an accessible parking space. Daily permits can be purchased at Parking Services or pay and display machines where applicable.
The University of Waterloo will communicate with a person with a disability in a manner that takes into account his or her disability and right to an equal opportunity and support individual needs (i.e. alternate format) upon request.
Please contact HR Help to request assistance.
