For the past month, since the launch of Workday, the Workday Support Centre has been busy assisting employees with the transition to the new HR system. In January, we had more than 9000 unique log-ins to Workday. As of February 11th, support for employees will continue to be available by phone (extension 33000) and email (email@example.com), however EC1 1004 will no longer serve as a drop-in centre.
Staff performance appraisal season is now upon us. Please ensure that you review, document and discuss your performance for 2018 with your manager. Your performance appraisal should include a meaningful discussion that highlights your accomplishments and goals. Performance appraisals are due March 15, 2019.
With the transition to Workday, there have been some changes to the processes for entering time for casual employees. Because this is the first pay period going through the new processes and timelines have been tight, we wanted to let you know that there will be an off-cycle pay for anyone who missed the regular payroll cut-off deadline.
