Waterloo named a Canada Top 100 Employer for 2019

Waterloo employees receive Top 100 Employer award

For the third year in a row, the University of Waterloo was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers (2019) and Waterloo Area's Top Employers (2019). The recipients of the national annual award were announced in The Globe and Mail on November 9th. The University was recognized for striving to be not only one of the most innovative universities in the world, but also one of the most employee-focused.

Upcoming system shutdowns

Due to the transition to Workday in January, 2019, there will be a number of system shutdowns during end-of-year. Please see the chart below for details. If you have any questions, contact workday@uwaterloo.ca. Please also note that several HR forms will no longer be available in January as processes will be automated through Workday. Details are available on the forms page.

Information verification required for 2018 T4/T4A

Beginning in 2019, T4/T4A forms and pay statements will no longer be available through myHRinfo. Up to six years of historical T4/T4A and six months of pay statement data will be available in the new HR system, Workday. This means that T4/T4A tax forms for 2018 will be available by February 28, 2019 on Workday.
