The Duty to Accommodate is a specific responsibility of the University as both an employer and as a service provider. 

Accommodation requests can arise for persons with disabilities, older employees, parents with young children or members of various faith groups. 

The Equity Office provides:

  • advice and consultation about the duty to accommodate
  • learning and development sessions on the duty to accommodate

Equity services also plays a key role in developing guidelines, practices and policy.
