The University of Waterloo's employee accessibility training was revised in December 2019 to include updates to both our own accessibility initiatives and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). All University of Waterloo employees whether full-time, part-time, or contract are required to complete the accessibility training and it must be up-to-date.
Organizational & Human Development's (OHD) award winning* series of Inclusivity workshops acknowledge, communicate, and promote an understanding of the complexity and uniqueness of the University of Waterloo’s campus community, presenting the ideals by which campus members should engage one another – with respect, sensitivity, and fairness.
Counselling Services offers a broad range of suicide intervention and mental health training programs. Their goal is to raise campus mental health awareness, reduce mental health stigma, and support early intervention for those in need within our Waterloo campus community.
