Take Back the Night, September 16 2021 

Take Back the Night is an annual global protest against sexual and gender-based violence. We deserve to be safe at night!

This is an in person outdoor event. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 regulations and guidelines. All participants are required to wear masks/ face coverings. Hand sanitizing stations will be available.

Schedule for the evening:

5:00pm-6:00pm - Sign making with SHORE (materials provided)
6:00pm-7:00pm - Rally, speeches, performances, and community partner booths.
7:00pm-7:30pm - Take to the streets! Bystander intervention in the park happening simultaneously.
7:30pm-8:00pm - Wind down and closing remarks

People of all genders are welcome to participate in all aspects of the event. Accessible transportation will be available for the march for those who need it. This event is taking place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnawbe and Haudenosaunee peoples. All work to end sexual and gender-based violence must be anti-colonial work.
