March 31st is Trans Day of Visibility.
We celebrate trans students, faculty and staff; trans scholars, artists, and community members and celebrate their diverse contributions to all facets of life and our community. It’s a day to add visibility to folx who are often invisibilized, and centre their voices and experiences.

Wednesday March 31, 7-8pm | Trans Day of Visibility Short Film Screening and Talkback
Join Rainbow Reels and the Gender Variant Working group on Trans Day of Visibility to celebrate Two-Spirit, Trans, and gender non-conforming filmmakers, artists, and makers through authentic storytelling. Tickets are free and give you access to the films for 24 hours, from March 31st at 3pm to April 1st at 3pm. To register, visit the Gender Variant Working Group’s Facebook page.
Tuesday March 30, 6-7:30pm | VIRTUAL YOUTH GROUP: TRANS VISIBILITY
Join OK2BME for a virtual youth group! March 31 is Trans Day of Visibility, so this group will discuss what it means to be visible, and the diversity within trans identities. Wednesday March 31, 10-10:30 | EarlyON Queer and Trans Family Circle
The 519 EarlyON Child and Family Centre is a supportive space for families of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and configurations and their children (ages 0 to 6) to meet, play, talk, learn, and grow with each other. Register for this virtual circle time via The 519s website.
Thursday, April 1⋅7:00 – 9:00pm | SPECTRUM Virtual Transgender General Peer Support Group
The Group meets on the first and third Thursdays, and the second and fourth Mondays of each month 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A safe and supportive environment for all trans identifying individuals and their allies to find community and discuss common challenges.
