Women-Identified Academic Writing Retreat

Women-Identified Academic Writing Retreat is a partnership initiative between the University of Waterloo’s Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion Unit, the Office of Research, and the Writing and Communication Centre. It was created to:

• support women-identifying academics in their research writing process
• provide time, space and opportunity for writing in order to directly address daily overburden of service work
• increase productivity and motivation
• connect with a broader writing community and inspire collaborations across faculties
• develop effective writing habits and routines
