Religious, Cultural and Spiritual Days of Observance

With stakeholders across our community, the Equity Office is currently working on creating a centralized campus resource on religious, cultural and spiritual days of observance. Campus community members will utilize this resource when planning and scheduling, so we want to ensure the information contained within this resource is accurate and that days of significance have not been overlooked.

Stage 1: Cultural Days of Observance (Spring 2020)

The first stage of this consultation includes receiving feedback on cultural days of observance, including days of significance among Indigenous communities. We welcome and appreciate your feedback.

Stage 2: Religious and Spiritual Days of Observance (Fall Semester 2020)

Stage 2 will include consulting with faith-based leaders to seek input on religious and spiritual days of observance.

We are currently in Stage 1 of consultations. Download and view Cultural Days of Observance Working Draft (PDF) and share your thoughts using the form below. If you have any questions or concerns about the Working Draft or this form, please email
