Mark your calendar — it’s almost time for the new Alumni Black and Gold Day! Join us on Saturday, September 28, for exciting new alumni events, along with your favourite activities from years past.
Join Waterloo alumni, students, faculty and staff — as well as members of the broader community — at this popular annual event. The Alumni Relations team is excited to partner with UW MATES on the Fun Run this year. Three dollars from every entry fee will go towards MATES, a one-to-one student peer support program offered by the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association in consultation with Campus Wellness.
This event is for all ages and ability levels. Costumes are encouraged!
Better, faster, stronger. Are athletes born or made? Join us in an exploratory discussion on advances in health technology and how they affect sport and the development of athletes.
Moderated by alumnus and presenter Gary Abbott (BASc ’10), the panel features Tristan Lehari (BASc '11), co-founder & CEO of TritonWear; Sarah Remedios (BSc '18), a master’s student in biomechanics and former captain of the Warriors women’s volleyball team; and Andrew Hopf (MSc '09), Interuniversity Strength and Conditioning Coach at Waterloo and Development Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Stanley Cup-winning St. Louis Blues.
Join us for a BBQ lunch, beer tent, live entertainment and activities for the whole family. Waterloo’s own Concrete Toboggan student team will be onsite selling their famous ‘Boggan Burgers with proceeds going directly to the team.
Get a seat next to the action in the VIP Tent at the Warriors Football game. The Warriors will be battling the York Lions. Come out and cheer them on to victory!
Your VIP pass includes samples from Waterloo Brewing, tailgate-inspired food, entrance into Warrior Field and grandstand seating during the game.
The Field House will also be open to visitors. All alumni are welcome to explore this new facility, located next to Warrior Field.
Join the Department of Athletics and Recreation as they celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of this year’s inductees. Share memories of your time at Waterloo as we relive the moments that have made an everlasting impression on the Waterloo Warriors community.
