An evening with R.G. Miller
Join us for an impactful evening to view the art of R.G. Miller recalling the experiences and trauma of Indigenous students of the Mohawk Institute, also known as the Mush Hole, a residential school in Six Nations, Ontario. The exhibit will also feature works by Tobe Muir.
Following the exhibition, there will be a presentation by the artist, R.G. Miller, and a panel discussion involving academics, a filmmaker, and Indigenous residential school survivors.
Portions of the event will be recorded for a documentary film about the history of Mohawk Institute and its ongoing ramifications.
WARNING: Some subjects depicted in the art of this exhibition are extremely graphic in nature.
