 r Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and\nGirls and Two-Spirit Peop
 le (MMIWG2S)\, is observed on May 5th. The\nday honours and brings awarene
 ss to the thousands of Indigenous women\,\ngirls and two-spirit people who
  have been subject to disproportionate\nviolence in Canada. MMIWG2S is a 
 human rights crisis of gender-based\nand racialized violence in Canada. \
 n\nOn May 5\, 2023 2:00pm – 3:00pm\, please join us on the B.C. Matthews
 \nHall (BMH) Green as Elder Myeengun Henry leads a ceremony of\ncommemorat
 ion. This event is intended to provide a safe space for\nUWaterloo communi
 ty members to gather in honour and remembrance of\nMMIWG2S people\, acknow
 ledge the families of lost and missing\nrelatives\, and raise awareness of
