DESCRIPTION:September 23\, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the United Co
 llege\n(formerly St. Paul’s University College) annual Pow Wow. This yea
 r\nis the inaugural collaboration on this celebration between the\nWaterlo
 o Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) and the University of\nWaterloo Office 
 of Indigenous Relations (OIR). In addition to the Pow\nWow being co-hosted
  by WISC and OIR\, there will be another major\nchange from years past\, a
 s the Pow Wow moves to the University of\nWaterloo Campus at an indoor ven
 ue\, Columbia Icefield (CIF). A huge\nthank you goes out to University of 
 Waterloo Athletics for your\nsupport in this celebration! This is a one-da
 y event featuring\nvendors\, dancers\, and singers from the Region of Wate
 rloo and beyond.\nThis is a non-competition Pow Wow\, with a focus on cele
 brating\nIndigenous culture and tradition through song\, dance\, arts\, an
 d food.\nMost importantly\, this Pow Wow is intended to be a safe\, welcom
 ing\,\nand vibrant opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous folks fro
 m\nthe University of Waterloo community and beyond to gather and spend\nti
 me with each other in a beautiful display of indigenization\,\ndecolonizat
 ion\, and reconciliation. All are welcome and encouraged to\nparticipate i
