DESCRIPTION:Summary \n\nSeptember 23\, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of t
 he United College\n(formerly St. Paul’s University College) annual Pow W
 ow. This year\nis the inaugural collaboration on this celebration between 
 the\nWaterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) and the University of\nWate
 rloo Office of Indigenous Relations (OIR). In addition to the Pow\nWow bei
 ng co-hosted by WISC and OIR\, there will be another major\nchange from ye
 ars past\, as the Pow Wow moves to the University of\nWaterloo Campus at a
 n indoor venue\, Columbia Icefield (CIF). A huge\nthank you goes out to Un
 iversity of Waterloo Athletics for your\nsupport in this celebration! This
  is a one-day event featuring\nvendors\, dancers\, and singers from the Re
 gion of Waterloo and beyond.\nThis is a non-competition Pow Wow\, with a f
 ocus on celebrating\nIndigenous culture and tradition through song\, dance
 \, arts\, and food.\nMost importantly\, this Pow Wow is intended to be a s
 afe\, welcoming\,\nand vibrant opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigeno
 us folks from\nthe University of Waterloo community and beyond to gather a
 nd spend\ntime with each other in a beautiful display of indigenization\,\
 ndecolonization\, and reconciliation. All are welcome and encouraged to\np
