Yoga for the Workplace
Yoga for many of us involves mats and a change of clothing; and a location other than where we are now. Margaret Hull, a teacher of Yoga at Queen Street Yoga, will show us that Yoga can be anytime and anywhere. Taking the time to stretch, move and pause can help releases stress, and enhance our focus. Seated and standing, we will explore awareness and presence in the body, the power of the breath, and some basic poses, with some time for a short Q and A.
As a UW science and music grad, Marg is thrilled to return to her alma mater to share another of her loves: yoga. Marg is passionate about helping others to optimum well-being, and holds a Masters in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care.
In her years as a singer, vocal coach, classroom teacher, mom, grandma, and counselor, she has found that yoga practice informs and enhances every aspect of life. She trained as a teacher in 2010, and continues to learn. Marg is part of the staff at Queen Street Yoga in Kitchener, where she offers Sunrise Practice, Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, and Intro to Yoga.
