Topic: Bootstrapping Departmental CRM in Recruitment: A Case Study
Date: Friday, January 23, 2015
Time: 9:00 am – 9:45 am
Room: MC 2009
Speaker: Colin Bell, Tom Graham, Scott O’Neill
In the second half of 2014, Marketing & Undergraduate Recruitment is in the process of expanding deployment of a department-level CRM solution. In collaboration with IST, this solution is aimed at managing the organizations and individuals that interact with the recruitment team (i.e. high schools, guidance counsellors, etc.). The solution is also addressing the need for a centralized repository of pre-application prospective-student information and interaction management.
This session will contain both technical and business process/concept information, and will review:
- the rationale for and origins of this CRM project (needs, systems replaced, business processes and use cases)
- the technology infrastructure and integration (as well as associated challenges and solutions)
- the deployment as it is today (including a brief demonstration)
- the planned path forward and additional functions/use cases that will be supported
This seminar is a repeat of the one presented at WatITis 2014
This seminar will be webcasted/recorded.
