Exchange Calendar configure a meeting room

Typical meeting room configuration

  • Anyone with a connect account can request a booking in the room and will be approved if the room is available
  • Leave all settings at defaults

Optional: Restricted access meeting room

  • Restrict who can book to just people in one department
  • Note that the list of people who can book must be maintained
  • New people must be added manually
  • Recommend using a Distribution List/Security Group to manage access
  • Request a connect Distrubtion List/Security Group from IST to start
  • Group is added in "These people can schedule automatically"
