50% of Exchange databases failed over to servers in EC2.
Client Access Servers (CAS) in MC temporarily kicked off client connections to the CAS in EC2. Clients using Outlook could have noticed a popup stating that the connection to Exchange was unavailable. Clients would have re-connected to the servers in EC2 within seconds causing a blip in service.
