On behalf of the WatITis Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 15th annual WatITis (Waterloo Information Technology and Information Systems) conference will take place on December 5, 2017 in the Science Teaching Complex (STC).
Registration is now open, Wednesday November 1st, 2017 until Friday November 17, 2017.
IST is pleased to announce the launch of WatVote, a new Drupal-based electronic voting system that supports the official online voting needs of faculty and staff on campus. WatVote provides counting and access control for online votes requiring authentication, security, and anonymity, and will replace the existing eVote system.
What is happening? On November 1, IST will be provisioning all remaining faculty accounts to enable the enterprise communications software, Skype for Business (S4B). Skype for Business is an enterprise unified communications tool, installed on your workstation as part of the Microsoft Office suite, that provides services such as instant messaging, presence, online collaboration, desktop sharing, and voice and video communication. S4B integrates with Microsoft Office and Exchange email and calendar.
