There is an email scam going around that states there has been suspicious activity on your account and that you are to verify your account.

Please ignore this message. Do not click on the link provided in the email.

The email will resemble the following:

Speech Attendant not working for off-campus extensions

The speech recognition system is currently not working for off campus extensions. Callers are able to reach the off campus extensions by dialing the extension but if you are calling with the name only; the system is not recognizing any. Callers can be connected to these extensions by calling the switchboard. We are aware of the situation and are currently working on correcting it.

Connect/Exchange server maintenance: Tuesday December 13

On Tuesday, December 13th, beginning at 10:00pm and ending by 4:00am EST, Information Systems & Technology (IST) will be performing routine maintenance and software updates on the Connect Exchange servers. While email and calendar services will continue to be available during this time, some servers will be restarted and it may be necessary to re-authenticate (login) when accessing Connect email/calendar accounts. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the IST Help Desk at Ext: 44357 or helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca.
